Network & Security Engineer: L2 Engineer

Education (Graduation, degree, certification, training etc)

• Science Graduate (IT / Computer), preferably, BE/B. Tech/MCA , Diplomo or Science Graduates with relevant experience are accepted
• Should be certified with at least 1 certifications out of the following
  • CEH/ CISA/CISM/ or Related Infosec Certificati
  • CCNA or Equivalent certification is mandatory
  • OEM certification for the solutions part of this RFP

Skills Required (Technical / Non-Technical)

Technical(Must Have)

• • Knowledge and experience of NGFW Technologies, DC Network Architecture, Info Sec Design and Architecture, Compliance.

Knowledge on the following Tech will be an advantage

• EDR and XDR (Any OEM)
• SIEM (Any OEM)
• DLP (Any OEM)
• Routing and Switching (Any OEM)
• NAC (Any OEM)
• Web Security (Any OEM)
• Email Security (Any OEM)
• Cloud Security (Any OEM)

Non-Technical

• Superior verbal and written communication/presentation skills
• Cooperation and willingness

Job Description (Responsibilities + KRAs)

• Technical knowledge on Infosec Solutions ranging from Perimeter to Endpoint
• Performing troubleshooting for the listed security solution
• Provide periodic reports to customer as per the requirement
• Escalate to respective OEM for higher severity incidents and drive resolution in shortest
  possible time
• Administer relevant Info security appliance & its components
• Updating policies as & when required
• Identification of Unused configuration/ rulesets
• Co-ordinate with Application team and Vendors
• Backup of device configuration
• Having knowledge of IT security policy for internet access and best practice
• Hands on reporting modules and able to create and share daily, weekly, monthly reports
• Should be capable of resolving critical issues, identify the unwanted access, authentication
  issues

Other

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Superiors.
• Provide assistance and support to colleagues.
• Work extra hours to meet deadlines, as required and where reasonable.
• Interest to explore new technology / product.

Certification

Should be certified with at least 2 certifications out of the following

• CEH/ CISA/CISM/ or relevant certifications in Infosec domain
